Artist’s Bookmaking Workshop
This class suits beginners as well as experienced artists. Hand make one-of-a-kind artist’s books for journaling or sketching. For the covers you will learn to make monoprints on an etching press. Then stitch them together with colored endpapers and interior pages for writing, sketching, light watercolor, or light collage.
Cyanotype Workshop
Make cyanotype photographic prints on fabric without using a camera. We’ll use the sun to expose our images and water to develop them. Lots to experiment with for making the images—forage for leaves and flowers, or bring lace and other interesting items to make the shadows that will form the subject of your work of art. Can be framed or stitched with other fabric.
